Creating memories that will last a lifetime....

Same Sex Ceremony

The State of Florida allows a Notary Public to solemnize the rites of matrimony.

So if you're looking to "tie the knot," let one of our experienced notaries officiate your ceremony. We'll help to make your day one to remember!

To prepare for the ceremony:

  1. Attend a Pre-Marital Course (Optional)

  2. Obtain a Marriage License

  3. Provide the Marriage License to the Notary prior to the ceremony

Couples have the option of attending a Florida Pre-Marital course. They will then need to obtain a Marriage License from the Clerk of the Circuit Court in Florida or from a county Judge, no blood test is required. The license will need to be provided to the Notary before the ceremony.

The Marriage License will be valid for a period of 60 days from the date of issuance and the ceremony must be performed on or before the 60th day.

For couples choosing not to attend the pre-marital course, there is a 3-day waiting period from the date the license is issued, before the ceremony can be performed. The waiting period does not apply to couples who obtained a Marriage License from another state. However, it is strongly encourage that you understand your state's requirements, if any.
